Take a break from the everyday and immerse yourself in three inspiring days of metal clay jewelry making at my home in South Jordan, Utah. More than just a workshop, this all-inclusive metal clay retreat is a creative journey where we’ll explore new techniques, design unique silver pieces, and share in the joy of making alongside fellow artists.

I’m beyond excited to open the doors of my home studio for a cozy, small-group experience—so you’ll enjoy personalized attention, creative freedom, delicious meals, and the beauty of Utah as your backdrop. With lodging, food, and drink included, this retreat is truly worth the trip from anywhere.

What’s Included:

Lodging (Up to 4 Nights)
Enjoy your own private bedroom in a warm, welcoming home. A mix of private and shared bathrooms is available.

Meals, Drinks & Snacks
You’ll be well taken care of with three delicious meals a day during our full studio days, plus snacks and drinks available whenever inspiration (or hunger) strikes. Have dietary needs or allergies? No problem—we’ll plan around you after registration.

Three Studio Days
Step into my personal studio! You’ll enjoy 3 full days of immersive studio time designed to inspire and challenge you.

Tools Provided
No need to pack your studio—I’ve got you covered. All necessary tools will be provided for your use during the retreat. If you have favorite tools you’d like to bring, feel free!

Clay and Creativity Kit
Each participant receives a curated kit that includes:

60 grams of fine silver clay
100 grams of base metal clay
Glass cabochons, Stones, or Inlay stone (varies depending on techniques taught)
Materials needed for the project of your choice
Bonus surprises!

If you find yourself diving deep into a project (or just want to make more), additional clay and supplies will be available for purchase during the retreat.

Studio Days

Days 1 & 2 – Dive Deep & Create Boldly
We’ll focus on specific techniques tied to your retreat dates, exploring them in depth through demonstrations, guided practice, and personalized coaching. You’ll then design a piece that incorporates these skills, making it uniquely yours.
Day 3 – Your Masterpiece, Your Way
Choose from my gallery of 20+ inspiring projects and customize it to reflect your own style while still following the project guide. I’ll be there every step of the way, offering tips, encouragement, and extra techniques to help your vision shine.

Retreat Details

Retreat Cost & Payment Details

The cost of this all-inclusive retreat is $1,695 per person.

A $500 deposit secures your spot. Balance must be paid in full 45 days prior to the retreat start date.

What’s Not Included:

Travel to Utah
Plan your own travel to the Salt Lake City area. The nearest major airport is Salt Lake City International (SLC). The retreat begins at 9:00 AM on Day 1 and wraps up at 4:00 PM on Day 3.

Travel to/from Airport
My home studio is located in South Jordan, UT, just 21 miles from SLC airport. Uber and Lyft are both reliable and readily available.

Where Are We?

SC Designs Studio is located at 11391 South 675 West, South Jordan UT 84095. It is accessible from I-15 and the 11400 S Exit.

Studio & House Accommodations

My cozy home studio is on the lower level, with both indoor and outdoor entrances requiring stairs. Two bedrooms are upstairs, and two are on the lower level with the studio, which has its own bathroom.

Breakfast and lunch will be served downstairs in the studio or living room, while dinners will be upstairs in the kitchen.

Refreshments—water, soda, coffee, tea, and snacks—are always available in both spaces to keep you fueled for creating.

Closest Airports

Salt Lake International Airport – Is our major airport. It is located just 21 miles North of the studio. Depending on traffic its a typically a 20-30 mins drive

Provo Airport – Is a very small airport located 30 miles South of the Studio. Depending on traffic it is approx. a 30-45 min drive. This airport is very small and services Allegiant Airline. They do not have a lot of flight options but some have found some very reasonable priced flights through them.

A Note About Our Furry Hosts 🐾

You'll be warmly greeted by Nacho and Lola, two small, enthusiastic pups who will bark when new guests arrive—but don’t worry, they settle down once they get to know you!

They will not have access to the guest bedrooms, so you’ll always have a peaceful, pet-free space to relax and rest.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel up to 45 days before check-in for a full refund, or choose to reschedule for a future retreat.

Cancellations made within 45 days of the retreat will be refunded minus a $200 per person fee to cover non-refundable expenses (such as transaction fees and preparation costs).
