Water brushes are a staple in my metal clay toolbox. I use them for so many things! Keep your clay hydrated, smooth pieces of your clay, rehydrate clay, attach layers together, and much more!
I also use a dedicated water brush filled with Black Max to patina my fired silver pieces. Remember that Black Max is a toxic material. Do not breathe it in, or get it on your skin, wash your pieces after you have blackened them.
